The Corcovado National Park is thought of as the crown jewel within the vast system of national parks throughout Costa Rica. The park houses the biggest primary forest along the American Pacific coastline. It is very precious because it also boasts one of the very few lowland tropical rainforests left throughout the world.
If you fancy lying on the soft sands of a tropical beach but do not wish to be crowded out by people galore then pay a visit to Playas San Miguel and Playa Coyote. The sands are a beautiful silver grey colour and the beaches offer fantastic opportunities for surfing and other water sports. Both beaches are nearly always virtually abandoned this is probably largely due to an unreliable public transport service to the area.
There is a bus service that runs but it is fairly uncertain and you need to check all your travel arrangements prior to trying to make your way there.
Spanish is the native language in Costa Rica so students will be presented with plenty of opportunities to make use of their studies outside of the language school. Costa Rica has an abundance of wildlife, history and beautiful sandy beaches.
